Our Weapons

This page is dedicated to our S&M gear. Many, many of these items fall under the heading of “Things I have beaten Mina with.” If you have suggestions for other things I should try, by all means, send them in, and we’ll give it a shot. In the meantime, we hope that this gives you some ideas for fun pain-induction in the bedroom.

The Black Collar

This was Mina’s original collar, dating back all the way to her very first roleplaying with one of her very early boyfriends, and something she has had for over a decade. Which brings up an important rule of sex toy ettitiquete: The lady keeps the toys after a breakup! Anyhow, back to the collar. This collar was rarely used before we started seeing each other. Once we did start dating, she found that she really enjoyed the feeling of wearing it, the satin around her neck, and sometimes being leashed by it. Since then, this collar has come to signify our “extreme D/s” play. When she is wearing the black, a much deeper level of submission is required, and she is owned, with no decision-making capacity in the interaction. The woman wearing the black collar is referred to only as “Slut” and is not my girlfriend. The safeword is her only way to influence what happens to her. For that reason it not used much more than once every other week, but “black collar” nights are very special in our house, and the place explored in those times represents some of our most intense experiences: sensory deprivation, breath play, and the most extreme pain that we explore. By signifying the greater extremes we may intend, this helps to provide a safer place to take greater risks in the bedroom.

The Pink Collar

We purchased this a month or so into our relationship, after discovering how much she enjoys wearing a collar. This is the identical to the black collar in the construction, but with a pink satin wrap instead of black. Where the black collar is worn in our most extreme play, the pink collar is worn far more often, and it is for our “regular” submission, which is done in a much more loving context. This is often casually worn when I want her to be my pet, or simply to submit, even if we are necessarily sexually interacting. I will often tell her to wear this collar for comfort, to help her sleep better, as well. She looks absolutely adorable in this collar, and I greatly enjoy dominating her on our frequent “pink collar” nights.

The SLUT Paddle

The one that started it all…our innocent selves had just played with a little spanking to Mina’s delight. She really wanted to explore this more, though I was a bit more reluctant when it came to actually putting down money to something dedicated to spanking. I mean, it’s one thing to give her a playful spank while she’s riding you, but a paddle is really…out there, right? Well, I was in playful mood, so we bought it and I gave it a shot. And with that first whack, a new world was opened.

While it will always be special for that reason, this is not something we find ourselves using so much today. This paddle is a great toy for the spanker, since it makes a loud, satisfying crack every time you hit with it, and leaves a nice, crisp, welted SLUT imprint on the spankee. The multilayer construction, with two flaps of leather help to make the paddle “clap” with every strike. From the other side, though, this is a relatively mild experience. Compared to some of the other items on this page, it is not an especially mean toy, but it is definitely a fun item to have in the bedroom.

The Crop

This is an actual riding crop used on horses, not really a toy, per se. It’s not clear how much this contributes to the experience, but this is an absolutely wicked weapon in the bedroom. Unlike the SLUT paddle, which is very loud but relatively mild on the pain scale, the Crop is a silent assassin. Only a soft slapping noise tells the whipper that he has connected, but the whippee feels and instant sting that grows rapidly in intensity before diffusing into a hot welt. No toy in our arsenal leaves sharper, more defined welts on Mina’s skin, and the intensity of the pain it produces is hard to match. The thin, stiff shape lends itself to very precise work, and almost all of my “artistic” beatings (my favorites being the tigering and the grilling) were done with the crop. I consider this a real artist’s weapon. Since Mina first “presented” me with the crop, it has become an instant staple in our S & M play.

Clothespins

These bastards are brutal. You can control how much they hurt by taking a thicker section of skin in them, which will hurt less than pick up the thinnest slice to get in the jaws. The longer they stay on, the more they hurt. The worst part of it all: It hurts the most to take them off! They often leave bruises in a distinctive pattern. The beauty of using these is seeing Mina breathe and trying to respond to the ever-growing pain, until finally you add the one pin too many, and she just can’t handle it. They are powerful tools, and when used selectively, produced unparalleled results.

The Rubber Flogger

This was a new Freddy and Eddy purchase, though I can’t find a link on the site for it. The rubber strands have a consistency and texture reminiscent of Koosh balls. This weapon produces a wicked sting that reddens, but does not welt the skin. Just letting the tips of the strings strike her produces some of the greatest effect, while a direct blow with the mass of rubber produces a deeper, more burning sensation. The flogger weighs almost nothing, and is easy to manuvering to produce a very fast series of strikes across the skin, since you don’t actually slap with it, the way one might with a crop. My only complaint is that this toy is virtually silent, and less inherently satisfying for the flogger than something like the paddle or the crop. However, from Mina’s side of the deal, she seems very happy to have this little nasty under our bed.

Improvised Weapons

My Hand

I love this one, but who doesn’t? A good old-fashioned spanking is hard to beat. Especially when I have Mina laying across my lap, every other tool is awkward to use. Hitting her with my hand is also deeply satisfying, between the sting I get back and the nice loud sound, and, most especially, my handprint in red on her ass! Another advantage of the hand is the sensory experience, that I instantly KNOW what I am doing to her, and what it is like. Since I always have it with me, it is great for public, and semi-public spankings as well. This is also the most versatile tool, you can do practically anything with it - scratch pinch, caress. Never leave home without ‘em.

The Belt

I wear a belt almost every single day, so this is another “old reliable.” It took a long time before I was ready to use it on Mina, because I had always associated belts with spousal abuse (as any Godfather aficionado can attest). But then, as so often happens between us, Mina wrote a fantasytwo days later, and in a drunken, passionate haze, I was beating her down to my knees with my belt.

The great thing about the belt is that it is almost always handy, and there is always that wonderful chorus of snaps as one yanks it out of the loops of your pants. I love how hearing that belt clear the loops always makes her jump just a little. Folded in half, it makes a richly satisfying crack every time its used, and leaves a bright red stripe where it lands. Used fiercely enough, it can welt, especially if you just use the tip as a whip. This is still one of my favorite tools to use on Mina, and I think one of her favorites to have it used on her.

Wooden Dowels

I have experimented with 1/4″ and 3/8″ oak dowels from the hardware store. The pricing can’t be beat, at less than a dollar. You should take care to make sure that they are well-finished and won’t leave troubling splinters. The trouble with dowels is that it is difficult to find one stiff enough to have a good impact, and but not so heavy as to be destructive and deeply bruising. While they certainly create a unique feeling, these are NOT my favorite. The frustrations with them do point out why a good cane could be a truly delicious addition.

A Yardstick

I picked one up for free at the hardware store, so it gets a thumbs-up on budget. A favorite of elementary school teachers of yore, the yardstick has a great sonic impact and imparts a definite sting. This is a lot like the paddle, but length allows you to get a really nasty whipping motion added to it for additional effect. Be sure to get one with a grain going down the length, because it is hard to really enjoy a good slapping tool if you worry about it snapping in half. And Mina definitely does not want to suffer the consequences of my fury over something breaking on her beautiful ass.

A Spatula

Since I like to cook and Mina likes to tease me, I often grab what is handy to straighten her out. I don’t feel safe using the flat of my santoku knife on her, so the spatula is often the next best option. It works a lot like a paddle, and imparts a lot of the same sting, even through her jeans. The handles of the kitchen spatulas usually have jump the right amount of whip and stiffness for this use, and they give great feedback to the use. The longer the better.

A Power Cord

This is a Gestapo-inspired weapon. The long history of shot-filled rubber hoses in brutal interrogations suggested this would be an effective submissive-beater. In actual use, this things is just a little too vicious for my taste, the way it wraps around the body so heavily, and seems to “grab” the skin. This is definitely a weapon for someone who wants to make a person hurt. In this case, as a matter of taste, I prefer not to use this.
