Resolutions (Sylvanus)

Since Mina posted her resolutions for the new year, I guess I should add my own. I have never made New Year’s Resolutions because I am the sort of person who constantly picks at himself and tweaks what he is doing. However, I do have a few in mind for the New Year. In no particular order:

1. Weight. It’s the American classic.

2. Photography. I want to find a few other people in the LA area to model for me. Couples, singles, whoever is up for it. I would like to be able to start another site at some point as an erotic photographer. Of course, HNTs here will always be Mina and I. At some point, this may involve turning our guest room into more of a studio.

3. Handwriting. My handwriting is shit. It looks like a sixth grader trying to write under a microscope. Eight years of college will do that. I want my handwriting to be not only legible, but pleasant to read.

4. Pacing myself. I get ahead of myself a lot. My brain gets going and I make undisciplined decisions way too quickly.

5. Family. I want to make sure I fly back east and see my daughter at least six times this year.

6. Writing. I want to write at least 100,000 words on this blog in the coming year, not counting NaBloPoMo. I also want to write a post that will displace “Deflowering Baby Girl” as our most-read post on a daily basis.

    Sylvanus –
Wow… 100,000 words. Damn. I guess it’s really not that much – 100 posts of 1000 words, but thrown out there like that it sure seems like a lot!!!

I can see you being very successful with #2, your photography is amazing. I’m never sure if it’s the subject or the photo itself that grabs me with your pics. You just capture Mina so perfectly each time, it shows how much thought and effort you put in to the shots.

Best of luck with your list!!!

Sylvanus, you romantic Master, you! What a memorable, beautiful way to propose!

Good luck with your resolutions, as well.

The handwriting! Ah yes, me too! I should have been a doctor!! But I’m not going to try to change it. I’ll just continue to type everything.
